Our Story

Accord Consultants was founded by an enterprising duo, P Shivanand and Mukta Shivanand, in 1983.

Back then, the concept of an HR consultancy was unheard of. But the duo, in an endeavour to help people channelize their career, started this small set-up in a garage, which has now flourished to leave footprints across India and Asia.

Today, Accord boasts of a loyal clientele, encompassing many sectors and domains.

FIRST CLIENTS  Accord took its baby steps with Caravan Goods Carriers, Armsel and Mysore Paper Mills as its first clients. It also worked with public sector and central and state government organisations like BEL, BHEL, HAL, HMT, Bureau of Public Enterprises, on programs that encompassed communication, presentation, leadership, supervisory development and management skills, to name a few.

TEETHING TROUBLES  Like any company, Accord too had its share of challenges, but it has withstood the test of time and has now completed 29 long years and is today the most preferred HR Consulting partner for organizations across sectors.
